Dr. Davis Morgan

Dr. Morgan is truly passionate about dentistry, with a particular interest in aesthetic restorative dentistry and implantology. His commitment to using the finest technology, his artistic talents, and his enthusiasm for people have helped make Dr. Morgan a premier dentist.

Dr. Morgan continues to seek the finest education available to give his patients the best dental care possible. He receives over 50 hours of credits each year, far exceeding the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requirement of only twelve.

He has completed courses at some of the most respected dental education centers in the nation, including Kois Center, LLC, in Seattle, Washington; the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida; the world-renowned Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida; University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio; Massad Learning Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the Center for Advanced Dental Education in Dallas and the Misch International Implant Center in Detroit, Michigan. In 2004, he was awarded Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Morgan considers himself a true West Texan. Growing up, his dad’s high school coaching career took him to several small West Texas communities, finally settling in Seagraves, where Dr. Morgan lived until attending West Texas State University. He then went on to receive his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Dr. Morgan met his wife, Trina, while in high school. She is truly a West Texas girl, straight from the cotton farm. Together they have two daughters, one son, and six grandchildren!

After graduation, Dr. Morgan stayed in the Dallas area, working as an associate before opening his own private practice in Midlothian. Dr. Morgan has been improving his skills and outcomes for patients by utilizing proven strategies paired with modern technology for the past 30 years.

Dr. Morgan anticipated a time when he and Trina could return to their West Texas roots. Trina has long suggested that Lubbock was in their future. Both Dr. Morgan and Trina’s mothers live here, as does their hygienist daughter, Hailey. During the Coronavirus lockdown, Dr. Morgan became convinced that Lubbock was a better place to be.

The idea of continuing his career in a new state-of-the-art dental facility in Lubbock became a goal. Having recently relocated to Lubbock from the DFW area, Dr. Morgan is excited to bring his advanced cosmetic and implant skills back home to West Texas.
